You never said which edition of XP you are running. BTW, where does the "movies" exist on your XP PC? Does it live under a "user" folder on the Win7 PC? If so, move it under C: and see what happens.

Are both PCs within the same workgroup? I don't mean HomeGroup but workgroup (XP style). Double check your sharing optons on both PCs. Sounds like your doing simple file sharing so disable password...
