I've run hardware tests on it and it comes out a-ok. When I ran the disc repair off the CD it said it couldn't repair it, mentioning something about a bad driver. I'm all but certain it's a Catalyst...

Tried both of those options. The DVD could not repair the problem and for some strange reason it says there are no System Restore points on the drive, though I know it's made them.
