Frequent items missing, recent items are there (Windows Explorer)

I have a problem with the right-click menu of the pinned Windows Explorer icon in the taskbar. I used to see recently used items and frequently used items there, but now I only see the recently used...

As I'm quite happy with Backup & Restore and...

As I'm quite happy with Backup & Restore and don't want to go 3rd party, I did some new research and found out that I can mount the hard disk AND have it show a drive letter at the same time.
