Can't be a virus...
Put your color intensity at maximum and then fix the color you want in color mixer :P
try this one.. If doesn't work then try to apply a Windows 7 theme :D

My Toshiba enter to hibernate or sleep with no problems...
I think the problem is with your windows..I have Win7HP 64bit too...
