i disagree on I7's running hot.. i have 4 in the house that run quite a bit cooler then whats your getting. All mine are overclocked a little , but it takes trial and error to get the right combo....

most addons is Firefox. you can do just about anything with it. Most secure i think is Opera, fastest has to be chrome.

At least on all the ones i have tested and used, thats what i come up with.

Might try running as admin or checking the compatibility and setting it as Vista or XP as well, sometimes in Win7 things act wierd.
