My guess is the real culprit is the interaction with an old version of Nero, not compatible but I LOVE the photosnap viewer and I ain't gonna shell out big money for the newer Nero just for the photo...

Can't defrag system drive though 29% fragmented

10% is the limit over which the system will auto-defrag but the system disc won't be defragmented. I'm wondering if that might be the reason for slow starting, double icons and other niggling things...
