The colors on the test pages seem very good on the LCD, possibly a bit on the red side-very slight. The whites are pure white.

Not sure what all that means, but with W2000 on my old computer, if I set the screen resolution/whatever it's called to 800x600, my 800x600 photos filled the screen--beautiful.

The problem with that is the photos are tiny, because the "native" is huge. I have thousands of photos that I've run thru Photoshop, most in 800x600 and some in 1024x768.

Doesn't seem that long...

I fixed it. I changed the "screen resolution" setting from 1024x768 to 1280x768, and now the photos look normal.

Yes, my old software is a problem. It runs fine on W2000. If I could get W2000 to work with WiFi I'd be all set. That's why I think I need both op. versions with some kind of boot manager.
