    Zemana Antimalware latest version

Does anyone else use Zemana AntiMalware? I just launched the program and it updated to:

    Zemana AntiMalware 2.18.2.19
This is the stable release of the previous BETA version (2.18.1.19)

Note: I have been using stable versions only.

Then I noticed that it now includes real-time protection. Previous versions were limited to "scan on demand"

Anyone tried the Pandora activation yet?

Okay so digging around for more information I get the following from the manufacturer:

       Note

    Quote from the manufacturer.

It works like MBAM Premium....scans a file on-execution.

ZAM has IntelliGuard+ Technology which has a signature database which is updated twice an hour (30 mins). It enables ZAM to detect malicious files without asking them to cloud so it doesn't increase cloud load and makes it faster to detect malicious files.

ZAM also has Pandora Technology which analyses unknown files in the cloud before they execute on your PC. If you turn this off, unknown files will be allowed to execute and in the mean time, they will be sent to cloud for analysis. If the file in question is detected, ZAM will automatically start a smart scan to clean your PC.

ZAM has a filter driver and process creation callbacks which is capable of monitoring files before they execute. So when ever an execution attempt takes place, the executable file gets scanned by IntelliGuard+, ZAM Cloud, Pandora and Reputation System and if it found to be safe, it will be allowed.

Zemana AntiMalware started as an on-demand scanner a year ago but we have always had the idea of adding real time protection feature so it can protect our users as well as cleaning their PCs. According to the feedbacks we get from our users, ZAM does a great job at cleaning PCs from a variety of different threats (rootkit, malware, dns hijackers, browser extensions, root certificates and much more).

Now it is time for protecting our users before the infection takes place. So, we are testing the real time and there are still minor issues left but they will all be resolved soon and ZAM will be much more efficient. The reason we are doing this is, we will soon make Zemana AntiMalware a Free product so everyone can use it for on-demand scanning and a paid version with real time protection.

Just to update regarding developments with Zemana products. They have discontinued their free version of AntiLogger, and have combined their premium versions of AntiMalware and AntiLogger into one paid product, Zemana AntiLogger 2.21, which includes all the features of the previous two paid products:

    https://www.zemana.com/en-US/AntiLogger

In my opinion the old Zemana AntiMalware Premium was already better than Malwarebytes AntiMalware Premium. With the addition of its premium Antilogger features into one product it pulls even further ahead.

I've had it now for about two weeks and I have everything running, I'm also running real-time with MSE and so far, so good. Version is highlighted.

I see you got a free lifetime license like I did . It was a bit buggy initially but the latest 465 release is fine. In fact scans are quicker than the old ZAM. Working very nicely with Eset.

Yes, I happened across it while on the SharewareOnSale site by Ashraf then a few days ago they also put up a free zamana antimalware package (ZAM) that didn't include the ID protection nor did it state that it was for lifetime, I wrote to them and found out that, ZAM wasn't as all inclusive as the antilogger (ZAL), you only had real-time with ZAM. If you tried to install ZAM while having ZAL installed it asked you to uninstall ZAL before proceeding.
I did the smart-thing; Kept ZAL and backed out of the ZAM install.

I did post the free lifetime for ZAL and the, I believe, yearly license for ZAM in our freebies section, but I don't know if there was anyone that took advantage of the offers. I see my memory is slipping, the two weeks is actually one.

I've always had good performance from the Zemana programs, no complaints from the start with windows or my machine running both Zemana and MSE in real-time.
The scans are fantastic, mbam settled into a 23/25second maybe longer routine for any size file, the longest I had so far for ZAL is 5seconds.

Another freebie is Vopt9 if your looking for a good defragger
The owner passed on and offered up his program for free for anyone that wants it.

You do have to add a .txt file to the program file after install and before the first run, this file is used to register Vopt9. You'll see a small popup each time you start the program, but that is a small price to pay to get the performance this program delivers, and I'm running just the default settings.
My machine is running like a puppy again!

I saved mine as Vopt9reg.txt and placed it in C:\Program Files (x86)\Golden Bow\Vopt 9 and your good to go.
