A Very Serious Threat

While helping a poster, I learned that Adobe Flash deposits a cookie that gives it control over your webcam and mike. Think about what I am saying, gang.

Yes. That's one of the reasons I don't use the flash player, not only is it a memory hog in browsers / big power drain in portable devices, it is a common exploit vector and then there is the cookie / hardware access it gives to third parties. What's annoying is... if you try to lock down those settings, websites like youtube refuse to work, they won't let you browse and watch their videos with a secured flash player :/

The sooner HTML5 video goes main stream the better, really.
