From the brief article it first must use flaws in Java and Adobe Reader to get into your system and then it can execute the bypass. I don't have Java or Adobe Reader on my system so that helps me.

Same here. No Java or Adobe Reader on my machine. Heck, I don't even have Adobe Flash for IE installed either. I use Chrome exclusively, so yet another commonly exploited target is not on my machine.
