Google Developing Chrome Patch Protect Against TLS/SSL-Ravaging BEAST

Conventional thinking says that it would take a beast of a program to break through the encryption spit out by the SSL/TLS protocol – that’s why it’s found in so many websites and browsers these days. Unfortunately, a pair of researchers say they’ve whipped up just such a program in the form of BEAST, or “Browser Exploit Against SSL/TLS,” and they plan on showing it off this Friday at the Ekoparty security conference. At least one company’s taking the threat seriously; Google plans on rolling out a Chrome update designed to confuse the BEAST and defend against its threat.

Seems somewhat immoral and possibly even illegal to release something like this into the general public (assuming it works)

I understand the need to make any possible security loopholes known so they can be patched.
It sounds to me like they plan on literally freeing the beast though.

I like to know how to password protect chrome users ... like when we open chrome we get window to select user and password.... i tried using –enable-udd-profiles mode... but its not working now a days..... Is there any other way i can setup like it.
