Thank God I've never even heard of Zappos.com

Get this error anyway when trying to load the site:
Either due to my location or the site being hacked.

It's getting worse and worse, almost in an exponential manner with time.
The thing though that is most worrysome is that the anti-malware programs are always running behind the facts. Or should i say "seem to be running behind the facts"?
You would almost have to come to the conclusion that there is something intrinsically wrong with the whole system if it can be so easily misused. Repairing it again and again seems senseless, not bringing any solution. Looks that it is time to start all over.

Didn't they used to make C64 peripherals, like the Zapp64?

But, it is a scary thought, if these big companies are susceptible to these major compromises, what chance do we smaller peeps have?

The answer to your question is:

I know, of course, very well what some people will answer. That we "smaller peeps", as Katsumoto calls it, will probably not be targeted. That's right. But even among the hackers there is a hierarchy. The ones at the top go after the big fish, but the ones all at the bottom of the hierarchy are satisfied with the us, smaller peeps.
