It's getting worse and worse, almost in an exponential manner with time.
The thing though that is most worrysome is that the anti-malware programs are always running behind the facts. Or should i say "seem to be running behind the facts"?
You would almost have to come to the conclusion that there is something intrinsically wrong with the whole system if it can be so easily misused. Repairing it again and again seems senseless, not bringing any solution. Looks that it is time to start all over. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Acer Extensa 5235 OS Windows 7 Home Premium 32bit, Linux Mint Julia, in dual boot mode CPU Intel Celeron 900 @2.2 GHz Motherboard Acer BA50-MV(U2E1) Memory DDR3 2048 Mbytes Sound Card Conexant HD Audio |

The answer to your question is:
ZILCH. Yep, merely reiterates the 'scary thought'. | My System Specs | | OS Windows 7 Home Premium x64 CPU Intel i5-2500k Motherboard GA-P67A-UD4-B3 Memory G.Skill Ripjaws X: F3 12800CL7D-8GBXH Graphics Card GA GTX 560OC (1GB) Sound Card Asus Xonar Essence STX Monitor(s) Displays Sony Bravia Screen Resolution 1920*1080 Keyboard Mionix Zibal 60 Mouse SteelSeries Sensei PSU Corsair HX650W Case Corsair 500r Cooling Coolermaster Hyper 212 Plus Hard Drives Patriot Wildfire ATA (SSD ~ 128gb)

I know, of course, very well what some people will answer. That we "smaller peeps", as Katsumoto calls it, will probably not be targeted. That's right. But even among the hackers there is a hierarchy. The ones at the top go after the big fish, but the ones all at the bottom of the hierarchy are satisfied with the us, smaller peeps. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Acer Extensa 5235 OS Windows 7 Home Premium 32bit, Linux Mint Julia, in dual boot mode CPU Intel Celeron 900 @2.2 GHz Motherboard Acer BA50-MV(U2E1) Memory DDR3 2048 Mbytes Sound Card Conexant HD Audio Zappos.com hacked, 24 million users affected problems?
