Its getting late for me, I've saved a copy, and will look at it more closely later today.

I was lucky and heard jay Jacobs of Verizon Business give a presentation based upon the report, consequently, grasping the more salient points of the report was easier. To watch for in next years report will be data related to malware infestation and hacking originating from a mobile device.

Security professionals are, presently, in a difficult situation. The CEOs and like thereof have not grasped the necessity of shutting out mobile devices if security is desired.

I've not visited her site, yet, but Georgia Weidman gave an interesting presentation regarding the 'insecurity' of Android devices. The Android model is not one that gives you security.

I've been so busy today I haven't been able to look at it yet to absorb the "salient points".

My DW, and I don't go in for the plethora of mobile devices, so far we only have cell phones, and the Nook Color I got her for Christmas.

We're on the "Do not call" list, and I've been getting spam-texts on my cell for winning iPods or iPhones, and I have sent the pertinent information on to the FCC - Form 1088G.

With the Nook, I'm still checking the Verizon wireless router settings to make sure it is locked down.
We just had FiOS installed, and there is a lot of settings/pages.

I'll be looking into the Weidman site.
