| | Wow. Now I want to know just what each antivirus protects against: if it is everything in that list, or if I need to install more 3rd party software for the additional protection... I assume what I use, MSE, protects against it all, but how to know for certain? MSE claims to be Antimalware, antivirus, and antispyware. Ah, here it is: Quote:

| | Most AV offer some protection against all these threats these days. But to what degree, and how effective is the question. I still believe a layered approach still applies. I have Avast, Malwarebytes Pro, and Superantispyware Pro running real time. I have Avira Antivir installed with active guard off, for an on demand scanner. I never get anything, but that's better then testing them often, lol. A Guy |
