Searching for images on Bing? Beware malicious search engine poisoning

Quote:
With search engine poisoning fresh in my mind, I thought it might be interesting to take a look at the current situation regarding malware; how is it currently being used to infect users with malware?

Since we block the redirect used in these attacks as Mal/SEORed, we are able to get insight into which search engines the are managing to poison.

another good reason to use WOT (web of trust) it displays a circle on the image ,
i have an addon for firefox that allows me to hover on an image and it enlarges the image in a pop up ,i can then right click it and "save enlarged image" ,this allows me save a pic without going on the site for a larger image.
it also displays the image in a pop up when i hover on a image link
for those interested the add on is called thumbnail zoom plus, im using the beta,

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fir...ail-zoom-plus/

if you do use it then you may want to uncheck thumbnail zooming as it pops out all the avatars and sigs on the forum ,really annoying but fine once configured.
