"Real time" testing of different Anti-Virus ........

Kinda cool .....

"In order to evaluate the effectiveness of free antivirus solutions, West Coast Labs has been running ongoing performance capability tests against a large number of samples from their ‘Real Time Project’, which leverages a geographically dispersed honeypot network to capture and provide a set of streaming samples 24 hours a day, 7 days a week." ........

Only seem to be testing MSE,Avira,Avast,AVG, and PC Tools though. If you hit the change button you can see results from different vectors. I guess this has been up awhile since the reviews for the magazine are from the May 2011 issue. But the results are "now".

PC Tools has allowed a few malicious files on a OP's system which I'm helping at the moment, they seem to can't find their .txt files from Malwarebytes either.

Notice the version of Avast they are referencing is Version 6. They have been on Version 7 for quite some time

I think that was when they tested for the magazine article. Surely the real time thingee is using the latest editions?
