Twitter is even recommending us to disable Java within our browsers, thankfully my account wasn't comprised, even though I use a e-mail address with my Twitter which doesn't contain any relevant personal data and is very dated.

I have Java disabled in all my browsers, and haven't come across a website which needs Java to be enabled/installed; I still have Java for OpenOffice.
