Netflix Scam

Quote:
"Combining a phishing scam with a fake tech support call center is something that I'd never seen before," the Malwarebytes senior security researcher told Wired.co.uk. A video of the find shows Segura trying to enter a fake Netflix login on the streaming service's homepage, only to be presented with a notice telling him the account has been suspended, and telling him to call a fake tech support number.

I never had this issue when I had my account with netflix thankfully. Just another reason i will either watch a movie on blu ray/dvd or wait til it comes on one of the premium movie networks.

There is no way I would ever do business with Netflix because of their past intrusive pop up and pop under ads.

I've not been victim to this scam, but I did have a trial 30 day subscription through the Blue Ray player I got. I never watched it though.
