I have been using adobe reader since i got my 1st PC. But after reading the article regarding adobe reader's exploits, i quickly switched to FoxIt reader.

This is probably only because people never bother to update or fix anything on there computers like my friend. He just starts downloading anything like crazy and never bothers to fix it or un-install it. Along with never updating, etc etc

Foxit reader will work for anything that "requires" Adobe Reader. Both open pdf documents.
