back on now, i think the issue is my end ,despite showing the network bars full, my weather location wasnt showing so i think it was my end ,reset the router and all is well again in loopy land

I've downloaded and installed it but got to play a bit more. I know that log on button at the bottom, if I click that and input my name and password from here it comes back with a message that I've used a wrong combo, and the other thing I tried, went into one of the forums and when clicking on a post I got an error.

I'll have another play when I have a bit more time and if I still have problems will uninstall and do it again.

I have no problems running it through the mobile Maxthon browser and I'm already logged into to that when I start it up.

Joan, has your password got any special characters in it? mine had £ in it and I couldn't log in until I changed it.

Hi John, sorry I'm late been a bit tied up and even going to the forum through the browser on my phone wouldn't let me reply.

Anyway yes my password has a number in it would that make a difference or is it only if it had a symbol ?

At present I have un-installed the app, I'll have another go at installing it and see what happens, but as it was it wouldn't let me go to any answer posts as an error box would appear telling me that it had stopped working, sorry I can't remember the exact wording but part of it had tapatalk in it. The only thing was to press the button telling me to force close.

No it works fine for me with numbers, tbh it might have an issue with your old version of Android although it should work on 1.5 and up.

My version of Android is 1.6 so, as you say it should work, I'll give it another go soon and let you know. I've said before though that really it's not something I really need as I'm home all day and have my computer but it's technology and something new and I want to play

If I don't have any luck making it work on my phone it's not a problem, apart from me wanting to try it out, I know there are a few apps I'd like to have but my Android version is too old for them.

I'll keep you informed how things go, or don't go whatever.

Type seven forums into Market place and it's the 4th one (it is on my Galaxy tab that I have sat next to me)
