28 Jul 2010 #4 Thorsen Win7 Home Premium 64x 3,420 posts I had looked at SUMIF previously, but I didn't understand what to do with it... So my example's function since there are columns A, B and Rows 1-8 with Row 1 as headers would be =SUMIF(A2:A8; "Type 1"; B2:B8) For further info can I use an "OR" statement in there as well =SUMIF(A2:A8; "Type 1" OR "Type 3; B2:B8) Well, it would be logical that I could also do it as such =SUMIF(A2:A8; "Type 1"; B2:B8)+SUMIF(A2:A8; "Type 3; B2:B8) I will try this out as well. OK Awesome stuff Bill. That is exactly what I am looking for. Thanks. My System Specs
