Need help with WLM pls

when i use windows live massager and i use the remember me and or the remember my password settings and i log off i get a message saying windows live massager has stopped working but if i dont use the (remember me,remember my password) settings and i sign out i dont get that message, does anyone have a clue why this is??

the only thing i have installed in the last week is StarCraft 2 and that was 3 days a got and this problem only started this morning at around 10am central time
