    Anu Script Manager 7 compatibility

I've installed Windows 7 recently in my laptop. Previously I was using Windows XP Service Pack 3. I'm regular user of Anu 7, and I had no problems with Win XP but, after I installed Windows 7 I get an error message in the pop up, "DLL:Could not open an essential data file". This pop up opens when ever I activate Anu Script Manager and I press any key there after. Please help me by guiding in solving this problem. Thank you.

What is Anu 7? A google search shows several different things, some of which might apply and some of which make no sense. I need to know what it is before I can tell you how to fix it.

I probably should have payed more attention to the thread title. Sorry about that....

It looks like there is a version made specifically for Windows 7. Did you download and install that version? One thing you can try is running it as admin. Right click the .exe for it, click Run as Administrator. You will most likely get a UAC prompt. Click yes.

Just in case it matters, exactly what edition of Windows 7 are you running? It obvious you have 7 since you're here, but there are different editions, must of which also have a 32bit or 64bit version. Different ones have different features and capabilities and I want to make sure all advice applies.

I've tried running it as admin by right clicking the .exe but still no use. By the way mine is a 32bit version of Windows7. Please suggest. Thank U!
