    Ventrilo Does Not Work


    I only purchased my computer yesterday and I have been installing some applications. Yesterday I installed Ventrilo and I can't get it to work. When I connect to a server, it just doesn't respond sometimes immediately and sometimes it waits a few minutes and then stops responding. I tried setting the priority to high but no luck. Anybody else had this problem?

    got similar problems


    but i cant get ventrilo to install at all.. downloaded ventrilo mix (latest version) but when installing it syas corrupt file and delete all files. any1 who can send me proper ventrilo or tell me how ot fix this problem.?

I've enabled a work around for this by running Vent as as admin. What intrigues me is that on my other two Win7 PC's it works fine - it's only one of them where I need admin mode. Does anyone have any info on why this is or do I just accept admin mode for now? Ian
i play cabal online and i use Ventrilo but has to be an open window to work how can i make it work while minimized:confused:

When I play counter-strike and use ventrilo it starts to lag after a while.. others talk comes like 10 minutes behind... and when I disconnect from ventrilo server then I can hear what they said... Is there a fix for this problem ?? :shock:

I can't get Ventrilo to install, I've tried compatibility mode and and running it as admin. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Soo sorry, should read the pop-up more closely. Does "reg delete HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\SQMClient\Windows\DisabledSessions /va /f" have any bad effects on...

When I load up vent everything works fine intill I load up a game or go out of the vent window. Once I do that it doesn't register that I am keying my microphone to talk. Any ideas on how to fix this?
