    Desktop Gadgets

My desktop gadgets were working fine until now I cant even change the settings i.e. when I click on the link to change desktop gadgets absolutely nothing happens. However, I can close already installed gadgets, but of course cant get them back now. Any one else had a similar problem?

    Hi,

I've not experienced this but you could try resetting the gadgets.

In Control Panel, Programs, under desktop gadgets you can select 'Restore default gadgets installed with Windows. This might cure any problems you have with your gadgets.

Note: Any gadgets you have downloaded may need to be uninstalled then re-installed.

    Hope this helps :)

OOp, never seen that. I always switch my Control panel to small icons right away.

I was thinking you might have meant under Turn Windows Features on and off/Windows Gadget Platform. Which works usually too to fix any problems.

    Thanks for the info dude.

It's right here, now I now why I have not noticed it, because I never view the control panel like that.
