Problem with Solid Edge

If you kill the process "PrinterInstaller.exe" the installation will continue and you will be able to use Solid Edge. The problem is that you can't install any MP on top of this installation.

I experienced the same problem - tgtbe, what do you mean with "you can't install any MP on top of this installation". What is MP?

Same problem! I tried to kill the installation and restart my computer, but then SolidEdge was uninstalled automaticly.

I ended setup process and Solid Edge works fine, but now if I try to install any other appliaction its says: Another install process is paused, and it then it gives me option to remove solid edge or close setup of new application. EDIT: Nevermind, I'm gona roll back to vista, too many problems.

SOLID EDGE IN WIN 7:
Right click on all Application file (.exe) in SolidEdge Folder, then choose the Tab Compatibility, Set: Win Vista or Previous Win, also choose Run as Administrator.
It works well. You can see: a piece of cake!
