Keyboard "Play / Stop / Skip" key function

I have a G19 logitech keyboard. I use the Play / Stop / Skip buttons on it for iTunes. However, when something else other than the desktop or the iTunes window itself is selected, those buttons operate Windows Media Player.

Simply put, how am I able to always have these buttons function for iTunes. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks
    Sean

you should be able to set the defaults from within the Logitech SetPoint program. I don't know where exactly, but this would be my first place to look.

I tried looking everywhere though it. I could find anything. I know what you mean to, I was trying to find a "set default program" option, similar to the way you would set your default internet browser.

I have a logitech wireless at home, and it has these play buttons. I have winamp and WMP, I will test this to see If I can find anything. If I get a chance. (I will probably have a honey-do list)

Hopefully another member will see this and post better info. If no one finds anything, I will test and see If I get the same thing and if I can find a way to fix it.

Edit: I am on lunch at work so It would be many hours from now....

Well I looked. I have setpoint for my gaming mouse. I don't use the play/pause/stop keys so they don't work at all on my computer. Sorry.....

If I think of anything I will post. hopefully someone else with a keyboard setup like this can post more.
