can someone tell me how to uninstall bbc i player because i don't understand the instructions on the i player site.

You should be able to do it through Control Panel. Go to Control Panel > Programs and Features. If that doesn't work you could try Revo Uninstaller.

Uninstall instructions,

BBC - BBC iPlayer - Help - How do I uninstall BBC iPlayer Desktop for Windows Vista or Windows 7?

Step 1 and 2 are for after uninstalling through Programs and Features, and requires the "hidden files and folders" setting to "show",

try using CCleaner and click on tools

then click on the iPlayer

then uninstaller should start
