    Question About Security Software.......

I know this may be a dumb question but ive always wanted to ask this. I mean....can the Kaspersky Password Manager be trusted???? I mean...when you put ALL you sensitive info in there....i mean...wont the people who work for Kaspersky or the people who made the program see all your passwords and stuff if they wanted to???? I mean..your storing your personal info on some data base or whatever. But it always makes me think that there are other people in the world...like the people who work for them...that can see your info. I mean..if you reply to this....please try to convince me deeply how they really cant see my info if they wanted to. Thanks.

Dont worry, your password files are encrypted, and the employees at Kaspersky have better things to do...

Right...i understand they are Encrypted. But it just makes u ask yourself... "Can they bypass the encryption with any type of tool they may have since they made the program" You know. I mean...what else can you say to me that may make me think " True..theres no way they can see my personal info". Thats all i want. Some kinda of assurance.

And the better things to do part...nah...they could be getting peoples super personal information an could actually steal a persons identity. People put ALL they info on there including credit card info and all. So the employees that work there would probably wanna do something like that.

The only dumb question is the one that is never asked

One thing you should never do is put in personal information in a work computer such as credit cards etc. Regarding the software, it should be ok to trust.

Swarf...think about it. What made u say "should be" ok to trust it? You know. Why wasnt it like " yes there is no way they can get or see your info". Its my home computer. But i dont know...just deep down it makes me think they (kaspersky) can somehow see the things u put in there.

I said "should be" because Ive never used the program personally. I doubt they can see the data and they probably have procedures in place for its safeguard.

I even think your right about that. I guess i would have to be a extreme computer whiz and know all about encryption for me to KNOW that they can't see the passwords. Im talking all passwaord managers in general. Im always thinking that the company that made it can somehow see the things you put into it. Thats why im hoping theres a few extreme encryption knowledgeable people on here who can at least make me feel at ease a lil bit...u know.
