    Adding Microsoft Games to RocketDock

Hey there, my problem is this: My eyesight is pretty bad, so I use Rocketdock and its 'bubble the icon' feature to help me navigate around my desktop.

I had Microsoft's Spider Solitaire added for about a month or so - after a loooong search through my windows files for the exe. path (it was buried deep, and dragging the icon from my 'games' folder was no help) - but after a windows update last night, it will no longer activate from my Rocketdock.

The path seems to be the same, but nothing happens when I activate it.

Does anyone know what I can do to get Spider Solitaire working with my Rocketdock again?

I recieved an email from The Windows 7 Forums that gave me some solid advice.

"Welcome to Seven Forums Afterthotz. Delete the current shorcut on your dock. 2 methods you can use to get a shortcut to your desktop.

Navigate to C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Games and right click on the spider shortcut, and click create shortcut. Drag that to desktop.

OR, Start> All Programs> Games. Left click on spider icon and drag that to your desktop.
Once you have the shortcut, drag that to your dock. See if that works."
These both created shortcuts on my desktop, but neither would allow me to activate the Spider Solitaire from my RocketDock... it kept giving me multiple errors saying that it could not find the path to the Spider_solitaire.exe

But - actually deleting the original shortcut FROM my RocketDock, and using one of the new shortcuts created instead, I was able to link the .exe file located way down in

    C:\Windows\winsxs\amd64_microsoft-windows-s..mes-spidersolitaire_31bf3856ad364e35_6.1.7600.16385_none_dead260d8f002b73\SpiderSolitaire.exe

(Where I orginally had to link from to make it work anyways, as shortcuts from the Games folder and Programs folder would not work) and now everything is back to normal. I appreciate the help - and would like to say that for the moment, I consider this problem 'solved'.

Sorry, that was from me, I posted that then saw in your original post you said, "dragging the icon from my 'games' folder was no help". So I deleted my post as a DOH! I was unable to find what you did, so glad my original DOH led you to the right path. But credit goes to you. And thanks for posting your fix, it may help others. A Guy
