    ccleaner


    i tried to download the program run cleaner and when i went to save it under my program files it told me i didnt have permission to save there i dont understand?

    Turn of UAC and restart your PC. Then re-download CCleaner and try to install it.

    You must elevate the installer. Download CCleaner DIRECTLY from the Piriform website. Right-click the installer and click 'Run as Administrator'.

    Seeing how i think he's somewhat new to the whole Windows 7 thing i wouldn't suggest him turning off UAC, As for the answer frzwin7 suggested..try that.
