    Flv movie to pictures

I don't really know if this is the right forums to have this topic but I am look for a way to turn an flv movie in to a hole bunch of pictures each one being a frame of th movie so if you take all the pictures and have them as a slideshow with each picture only there for a very small time, it would look like the movie but without the sound. I need this because 1 game only supports pictures as the background and I want it to look like a movie in the background. So is there any type of software that can do that? If you can't find one for flv then tell me the other one you found but try to find an flv one.

In order to make a slideshow movie using bunch of pictures, you can use Windows Live movie maker. I dont know about any softwares to make pictures out of a movie. What best you can do is pause the movie on every picture and use Print Screen and Paint. (that's a weird option, I know)

Download and install Media Player Classic/K-Lite Mega Codec Pack. After which, do the following:

    1. Open your Flash Video (FLV) movie with Media Player Classic
    2. Pause the movie
    3. Click File > Save Thumbnails
    4. Enter the desired file name
    5. Select the file type from the list
    6. Specify Rows and Columns
    7. Specify the Image Width
    8. Click 'Save'
    9. That's it

    RAD Video Tools

I'm sure you heard of this piece of software before... Game developers often use Bink to compress their cutscenes into .bik

With the video tools you can extract all the frames of the video into pictures, one frame-one pic... You have the tutorial on their website.
