Make a program not require admin rights?

    Hi,

i am a lil bit confused here. the program name is xfire, i want to start it when windows start. problem is, it needs admin rights to start, so if i put it on when windows start, the admin box comes in and stalls everything else from loading.

is it possible to make it run without it needing admin rights? I still want the same security level, just exclude this program?

    thanks in advance.

Right click the executable and check run as admin. You cant "exempt" one application, but you can elevate one.

    Hello Mate !

Follow this article Elevated Program Shortcut without UAC Prompt - Create create a new shortcut for xfire, place that shortcut under Startup Folder so it will launch the app as admin rights at startup.

    Hope this helps,
