    Password Store Software?

    hi guys,

you already reached plenty of pages re: the softwares for windows.. and i hate to go over each one of them from page 1, LOLz...

i would just like to ask if anyone here can recommend a good software (database) for keeping passwords, accounts numbers and the likes in the PC and is secured with some username/passwords when trying to access it? i have came across some software called "ewallet ..." but am not sure if it is really compatible with Windows 7; mostly, they are for winMo's...

    TYIA.

    Hi vicnard12,

KeePass Password Safe is a free, open source, lightweight, and easy-to-use password manager, while Roboform is a proprietary password manager and also a form filler for websites. You decide which.

I use FlyingBit Password Keeper. It's easy to use and has a neat facility whereby you can press a keyboard combination when you're on a webpage and have it automatically enter any combination of keyboards presses and characters.

This is the software that I have used with several employers and it works very well.

I vote Roboform also. Easy to use, has toolbars for IE and FF, one-click page access and form-filling with auto-submit so you just click the entry in the list for the page yo uwant to go to and log in and it goes and logs in. Roboform also has a portable version that you install on a flash drive, it will hook into the Roboform toolbar on any PC you plug the drive into and run the app from the flash drive. IE requires no toolbar installation, FF requires the plugin from the RF site.
