Windows 7: Having trouble installing Solid Edge SE2

Having trouble installing Solid Edge SE2

I used to run Solid Edge version 20 fine on Windows 7, but I want to install the newer version called SE2, but when I start the installation it keeps saying that the old version has not been uninstalled...even though it has. I cannot find any solid edge files anywhere on my computer, I have even gone through the registry and deleted all the Solid Edge instances. Now I am out of ideas on what to do next, and I really need this program asap.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit

I have both Solid Edge ST2 and V20. Both work fine with my xp system but I am actually having trouble installing V20 with my Windows 7 system. The setup wizard seems to "jam" after it removes backup files. I can use the software but after restarting the computer it seems to uninstall itself. The only way I can exit the window is to use the task manager. Did u have this problem when installing V20 on your windows 7 system?
