I need some help with Java

I recently uninstalled Java but had no problems with seeing games or videos that required it, but now I can't even look at gamemaker games I've made. Whenever I try to install it again it gives me a message that says it's already been installed so I just choose the reinstall option and then it gives me an error code that says

"Error 1723. There is a problem with this Windows installer package. A DLL required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor."

Can anybody help me? I've tried looking up troubleshoots and nothing seems to work. I was even going to reset my system but I couldn't find the disk.

If it helps my OS is Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit.

    Try in this order

    Ccleaner
Piriform - Download CCleaner, Defraggler, Recuva, Speccy - Millions of users worldwide!

    Install in safe mode

Do a system restore to get java back, then uninstall with revno and then use ccleaner

There are remanants that remain, that is the problem

If corruption is found, run 3 times
SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker
