    Some applications open too late

    Hi,

I am using windows 7 professional 64 bit. Recently some programs such as iTunes and VLC player open 15 minutes later after i double click their icons and iTunes works really slow. But other applications like chrome opens normally or winamp.

Any idea about how to fix this problem?

    Thanks

Try uninstalling, cleaning the registries and reinstalling the software that works poorly. Also check you PC for viruses and malware periodically.

I and most here do not recommend fooling with the registry unless you have a very good knowledge of Windows 7 registry. Some programs that clean registry do more harm than good. Like Hellraiser posted, removing program and reinstall could help.
Please fill in you computer specs so we can help you better. Look at the lower left of my post and you will see what I mean.

trying to figure out what the problem is just waste of time.

I think I should re-install the windows that probably would solve the problem...

Reinstalling the windows is a great way to get rid of problems. Until they reappear that is...

Some times finding the problem and fixing allows a person to learn so it doesn't happen again. It's always up to the owner of the PC.

    Mert,
    It's your call.

If you would like we will see if a less drastic approach is possible.

Have you made any changes of which we should be aware?

In any case, please Update Your System specs.

In the following procedure, 3 different programs are given which will present you with the needed info.

    Help us to help you.

    Update your SevenForums System Specs
User CP (3rd item in the top menu bar) |
Your Profile | Edit System Spec
    (left-hand column)

To gather info, use SIW or Speccy or System Info

Add the word laptop or desktop or netbook to the
    “system manufacturer” block, for example,
    Toshiba Satellite L305D notebook.

Provide full windows version info, for example:
    MS Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 64-bit

Use the “Other Info” block for Optical Reader,
Mouse, touchpad, wifi adapter, speakers, monitor, etc

Scroll down and click on the SAVE CHANGES button.
