close all apps.....

clayp -

quick thought... when you downloaded the 'close all apps...' program it was in a zip file - where did you unzip it? Make sure it's somewhere that a win cleaning or optimizing program can't get to it like your download or any temp folders. Right click the applications big Red X (you might need to hold down the shift key while right clicking it ) and pin it to the taskbar. Once pinned to the taskbar you can drag it off to the side so that you don't press it by accident. Taskbar is the best place that I've found for it to always work - even when explorer.exe isn't responding if you hold the click on the icon for a longer period of time it will work.

You do know that this app just closes your current windows - it doesn't shut down your system.

Anyway good luck to you!

(*** ALSO wouldn't hurt to check out the tutorial section on this Forum - might be something there that would work for you )
