Thanks for the update. Nice to see some of the big companies on the ball. Ive only bothered to install the 64-bit version rather than both this time. Looks like things have changed.

Do i really need it as Ms VM is already installed?

What will be the change...while surfin' couldn't see any difference, it is installed on my Xp boot because SP3 pack have deleted MsVM

You need it for anything Java-related.

yes, that's what i know on my Xp but though virtual machine on Windows 7 was better integrated...I did not tried yet oOo 3.1 on Windows 7.

I'm looking for the oOo 2.4 because it is integrated to IE8, not v3.1

OpenOffice install java for it's own purpose, it is provided with.

I thought it was taking them a while to make a new version of Java, thanks for the update Airbot.

Running J6 Update 14 fine now.
