Old Versions of your Favorite Software

From time to time I find myself wishing I could go back to an older version of the program that is not available for download anymore due to the fact that upgrading was a big mistake.

In search of older versions of foobar I found this great website which hosts tons of older versions of programs: web browsers, media players, video utilities... as far as I can see, they have it all

    OldApps.com

Just wanted to share with you guys, as I think this might be pretty helpful

Sometimes old software can be useful an example being Nero Move it ( A audio/video transfer software for portable media players/ Ipods ) which will only work properly with Itunes 8.2 and below because Nero updates cannot/will not keep pace with those of Itunes ( now 10.1 )

a very useful resource, especially for older pc's that can't handle some of today's bloat-ridden software.

    Another good one:

    OldVersion.com

    Also for video related:

VideoHelp.com - Forum, Guides, Tools and hardware lists

In each software tool listing there's a link to old versions hosted on videohelp server. Many abandoned tools are still available for download there. Often you can look through the comments section and find the latest version introduced a severe bug, and back off a version or 2 until it's fixed etc..

    Filehippo is another,

    FileHippo.com - Download Free Software

Usually mirrors the latest as well as older versions.

A great alternative for you Realtek audio users who don't want to wait on Realtek's less than dial up servers.

And a very good site when looking for user manuals for just about anything,

Diplodocs - Find your user manual, user guide, instruction manual or owner manual instantly !
