I am trying to make a program automatically load along with the basic drivers and files windows loads in safe mode.
I've seen several people doing it, so how can I do it?
I just purchased a sweet Alienware M51 Laptop, its OLD! 2004 and im having a problem finding what hardware is actually installed in it,, theres so mayn oprions on the alien ware website and it doesnt tell me what drivers i actually need,, mainly i need to get the graphics drivers and sound drivers....

An old windows program only runs in safe mode in Win 7, but worked fine in XP. The start up exe file looks for a set of files in a sub-directory, but it seems as if something in Win 7 is directing it to another directory. There is no ini file as far as I can see, and it works just fine in Win 7...
