Bad Install, need fix Greetings,
It appears that I tried to install a program that Win 7 doesn't like.
However, in my busy life, I hit the "It installed properly" button instead of the other one.
Is there a way to 'uninstall' or fix this issue? the program does not show up on the Control Panel uninstall list, in the program files folder, or anywhere on the HDD (I've manually searched for it).
Everytime I try to re-install it, it does not give me the initial options of proper install or not.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

Use this to uninstall the software you are talking about. Description of the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility
Then try to reinstall.
If you still can not, use CCleaner on your system and then a good registry cleaner like jv16 Powertools. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number self built OS 7600.20510 x86 CPU P4 550 3.4 GHz HT running at 3.5 GHz Motherboard MSI PM8M3-V (MS-7211 v1.x) Micro-ATX mainboard Memory OCZ 2 GB(2x1GB) DDR400mHz running @ 414 mHz Graphics Card HIS Radeon HD 3850 IceQ 3 Turbo HDMI Dual DL-DVI AGP Sound Card MOTU Traveler firewire studio interface 192 kHz 24 bit Monitor(s) Displays 22" widescreen Acer X223W LCD, 17" Compaq P75 CRT Screen Resolution 1680x1050 and 1280x1024 Keyboard Logitch Classical Keyboard 200 Mouse Logitech Mediaplay cordless PSU 350W generic Case Cybertronpc, it glows blue Cooling stock cpu fan, Ice-Q 3 gpu and system, many case fans Hard Drives SATA I x2 WD, 400 GB and 120 GB, SATA 2 WD Caviar Black 1 TB Internet Speed 1792/448 kbits/sec Other Info SATA II PCI fake RAID adapter, 1 GB Readyboost, original ATI Remote Wonder (even works with WMC perfectly), Logitech Rumblepad 2 game controller x2 |

No luck on the CCleaner (already using it) or the jv16 Powertools.
This one has stumped all my friends too. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Me OS Windows 7 Pro CPU AMD Athlon 64 X2, 3.2GHz (6400+) Motherboard Biostar TF8200 A2+ Memory GSkill DDR2 PC2 6400, 4Gb (2x2Gb) Graphics Card XFX 8800GT (DDR3, 512Mb, OC with radiator and 120mm fan) Sound Card MB (Realtek 7.1) Monitor(s) Displays LG 19" LCD Screen Resolution 1600*1200 Keyboard MS Ergo Mouse Logitech Trackman Wireless PSU Thermaltake 600W modular Case Antec 300 Cooling Air Hard Drives Samsung 500GB SATA 3.0 Internet Speed DSL 6mb Other Info MB LAN (Realtek Gibabit)

Well, what software are you talking about. Possibly you have to remove files or reg keys manually. If you mention it, someone is sure to know a little something about it. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number self built OS 7600.20510 x86 CPU P4 550 3.4 GHz HT running at 3.5 GHz Motherboard MSI PM8M3-V (MS-7211 v1.x) Micro-ATX mainboard Memory OCZ 2 GB(2x1GB) DDR400mHz running @ 414 mHz Graphics Card HIS Radeon HD 3850 IceQ 3 Turbo HDMI Dual DL-DVI AGP Sound Card MOTU Traveler firewire studio interface 192 kHz 24 bit Monitor(s) Displays 22" widescreen Acer X223W LCD, 17" Compaq P75 CRT Screen Resolution 1680x1050 and 1280x1024 Keyboard Logitch Classical Keyboard 200 Mouse Logitech Mediaplay cordless PSU 350W generic Case Cybertronpc, it glows blue Cooling stock cpu fan, Ice-Q 3 gpu and system, many case fans Hard Drives SATA I x2 WD, 400 GB and 120 GB, SATA 2 WD Caviar Black 1 TB Internet Speed 1792/448 kbits/sec Other Info SATA II PCI fake RAID adapter, 1 GB Readyboost, original ATI Remote Wonder (even works with WMC perfectly), Logitech Rumblepad 2 game controller x2 Bad Install, need fix problems?
