| | Media player 12 Does anyone have a suggestion to replacing MP12 with an older version, or a downloadable replacement. I have 40gigs of music on an external HD, and wish to do playback from that drive. New music is constantly being added, and the Windows 7 mp12 reloads everything which takes hours. Any solution is greatly appreciated. |

| | Since Windows Media Player is built in to Windows it can not be run from an external drive and you cannot use a version prior to the one that came with the OS. A lot of people have problems with WMP12. I found a page that discribes the five most commonly downloaded media players for Windows and has screenshots of each.
