MS Office Professional 2007 Problem

I have Office Professional 2007 installed on an HP Pavillion DV7 series laptop.

Their were no issues at first. Now every program in the series works fine except the one I need the most - Office. When you click on the program the Office Word box comes up on the screen but that's it-the little blue icon circles forever-the program will not load. No error message, nothing. It worked perfectly before, it is a valid copy, and I am stumped.

Any ideas?

Test to see if it is due to some conflict.
How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7

If it works, just follow directions to find the cause.

If it does not work, try in safe mode

The answers will give a clue to the cause. If clean boot works, you can fix it by following the instructiions.

Amazingly enough I the Devices and Printers area wasn't working as well, went over to that area any applied their tips, and now Word is loading-at least for now!

I'll check back if it stops again-very weird!
