| | Windows 7 - Applications taking very long to start up Hi all, Recently I've encountered a strange problem; it's not reproducible but happens from time to time. When I attempt to open an application (be it opening a PDF (Adobe Reader), or firing up Chrome), the mouse shows the spinning icon beside the pointer, but the application does not start up. This can take up to a minute before the application fires up. When I check the Task Manager for my application, I see that the appliation starts, but only takes up 100kb of memory, and stays that way for a while before increasing, and that's when the application loads. Any ideas? Thanks  |

| | Did you try re-installing the app? If that didn't work, try running chkdsk /f, disk defragmentation (i recommend Puran Defrag) and memory diagnostic. |

| | It's most likely because of Kaspersky 9.0.0.736. Close it and try. |
