    Random "not responding"

    Hi,

I am new here, so I'm not shore this is the correct place to post this question.

I bought a Thinkpad SL410. It has the usual bloat ware, so I did a clean install of Windows 7 with a OEM disk and my OEM key on the laptop. Works great, found all of the Lenovo drivers for the computer and installed them. Everything works great for a while. Then 2 days ago I un-installed firefox (it was acting up). Now randomly when opening a folder program etc... The window will say "not responding" and if I let it sit for a few minutes, the problem will resolve itself. I also noticed that when clicking on the start menu, the icons take forever to load. I'm not shore what the problem is. Or if it is related to the firefox problems. I've ran a CHKDSK and scanned it for viruses. Both of which came up ok.

    Any help would be appriciated!
