Ripping disks for YouTube (limited ripper)

I wasn't sure if I should ask just in case you think I'm some video pirate, but all I need is a ripper for up to 10 minutes of video footage so I can post my fav movie clips on YouTube. Anyone know of anything that'll do a good job of ripping 10 minutes off of disks?

One of anything ... easy to operate , wide range of formats and easy to crop .

Eight Video Tools & DVD Tools in One Package - Movavi Video Suite

Anyway, there is a lot of free good tools resulting better quality ; but comparative difficult to operate .

Thanks Archie, I'll give it a try. By the way, nice Daytona. I used to have a Triumph Tiger 1050 myself.

EDIT: I've just installed it but it says it's got a 30 day trial on it. What happens after the 30 days? Does it just hound you like WinRAR does, of does it cut you off altogether?

After 30 days it will stop working ; within the 30 days it will perform limited works .

The best way to rip DVDs is HandBrake , and after ripping the DVD to AVI , the best cutter is avidemux . Both the programs are free, but not as easy as the paid programs to operate .

I've got that Handbrake program downloaded, but I can't seem to get it working properly. Most of the time it starts to rip only to stop and all I get is a green screen. When it kinda works it always rips the same part of the film and the clip locks up right at the end. I also can't get the preview working. Can someone tell me how to get proper clips done with Handbrake? I'm looking for clip quality equal to the largish screens YouTube are now doing with sound quality to match.
