    Shiretoko+flash?

Hi. I just installed Firefox Shiretoko 3.5 Beta 4 (64 bit)
Works well but I can't play flash ie youtube.
The message is that either I've got JavaScript turned off or I need Adobe Flashplayer 10.
Well I've got that. How do I turn JavaScript on?

    Cheers, John

A 64bit program can only load 64bit DLLs. The main problem is no 64bit flash player available, and Firefox x64 can't load 32bit DLLs.
So, currently there aren't any workaround for this problem, a 64bit browser can't play flash.
Let's hope adobe release 64bit flash player soon...

Hi saladfingers, thanks for your swift reply.

Oh well I'll wait for Adobe to get it together and release a x64 flash player.
Think that might be a while given Adobe's absolute uselessness.

    Thanks, John

    I to all of you,

I also use this browser, there is a good way to watch movies I added Flash Video resource extension this give you the ability to download flash movies you may watch the movie with AVS Player wich is freeware and does not need any plug in all are included. Moreover I also installed another extension witch is called Media player connectivity this extension gives you the ability to play movie and song in your favorite player. Finally I installed the final version of Shiretoko and all my extensions work just fine.

Nice one, thanks Loftil. I'll have a look at it again.
I'd give you some more rep but I'm not able to yet. That's the second good post I've read of yours.

    Best Wishes, John:)

I've downloaded the minefield version and media player connectivity is incompatible but flash video resources downloader is ok.
I'll have a mess around with this version anyway and then maybe try the last proper version that is compatible with the media player addon:)

    Hi John,

What shall I say Media Player Connectivity is working well for me but not with flash only for other kind of media... Hard to give you an advise... Just check that you don't have a beta version of ShireToko, but finally your player should work fine without Media Player Connectivity. OH no I just uploaded last Adobe flash plug in and stil no version for X64 there is a Linux one ....

I think the "minefield" version is a beta. Most of my add-ons won't work with it and only one skin etc.
I might go back and try the last stable version. I'll let you know what happens. Cheers:)
