    Upaap HP

I'm cleaning out extra programs not being used. I come to "Upaap" by HP and cannot find what it is for. Did a Google search as well as a search on this forum. Still cannot find it. Is it needed? And what for?

Upaap is the name of an exe? A dll? What folder is it located in, etc. A screenshot speaks volumes as well :)

I find it at the bottom of the Control Panel...Uninstall Program Page so I assumed that it is an exe. however a search of the HD only shows a folder, no application.

Blockie, I've never heard of anything called Upaap. Are you spelling it right? please check. As A Guy said above, make a screenshot (with the snipping tool) and upload here.

Jeez, Blockie, its UPAPP not UPAAP. Its an HP updater software, likely for HP printers. Go ahead and uninstall it, HP updaters are quite useless. The machine I'm typing on now is an HP and I uninstalled all HP updaters the day after i purchased it.

    Thanks, Bill2.
Sorry for the misspell. Only excuse is that my fingers are getting bigger as I age (80) or the keys are getting smaller.
