Windows 7: Removing "Run As Administrator"...

Removing "Run As Administrator"...

OK, I know I can designate any program installed to be run only by Administrator with a simple right-click,
and many programs install that way (with good reason...).

BUT...
Our son plays an on-line game (Combat Arms EU) which installs itself as an "run-by-administrator-only" program (admin shield on its' icon). Every time he wants to play, I have to enter my Administrator's password, which is (to put it mildly) rather inconvenient.

SO, the question is, how can I REMOVE this restriction for this program, thereby allowing my son to use it whenever he wishes?

Regedit?

(BTW: giving him Admin rights is NOT an option!)

Thanks in advance!

@ mckillwashere:
Opened Task Scheduler, but am having difficulties managing my way around there - when I open "Create Task", the 'location' area is grayed out & I am not able to enter the path to the game.
I only want it to run when my son wants to play, not on a regular basis.
Additional info/instructions would be greatly appreciated - I am a Win 7 'newbie'... sorry!

Thanks in advance!

Right click on the programs' icon. Select properties, then, select the "compatibility" tab. At the bottom of this window, UN-check the box that says "Run This Program as an Administrator"

I'm going to go through all steps again over the weekend & see if I messed up somewhere.
I'm not an advanced guru, but I ain't no Luddite, either...
I'll get back to you... in the meantime, thanks for the info & assist!

@richnrockville: I'm trying to remove need for admin's rights, not add them.

@mborner: the box is already unchecked - program downloads and installs with admin's shield already on logo.

Thanks to all for trying to help... more to come soon...
